It's not long until #LoveMolesey and the team are busy finalising details for a huge range of projects. So far they already have cleanup projects, opportunities to make a difference in our local schools, care homes and the day centre, tea parties for seniors, a fun games night for young people and even a history walk along the towpath. Over the coming weeks they'll be announcing lots of others so keep checking the website www.lovemolesey.org to find out more.

On Tuesday 13th March they'll be holding their launch event, during which you will have the opportunity to hear from the organising team all about the vision behind #LoveMolesey and what’s coming up. You will also have the chance to meet many of the team leaders to learn more about the different projects which will be running over the course of the 4 weeks and how you can get involved. Refreshments will be available, we look forward to seeing you there!

Princess Alice Hospice have provided free, expert end of life care to thousands of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses over the past 30 years.

Their compassionate support and advice has also helped families come to terms with the loss of a loved one and provide support throughout the grieving process.

The Towpath Trundle is a yearly event which offers prople the chance to help fundraise and ensure the Princess Alice Hospice is able to continue the truly amazing and important services they provide. Participants can choose their starting point between Walton Bridge or Sadlers Ride in Molesey and can decide between a 4 or 8 mile route, and there is no requirement to complete the whole course, just a £7 (£8 on the day) entry fee. You could even tie in a picnic by the river en route! Fancy dress is encouraged and prizes/ trophies will be awarded to the biggest teams and biggest fundraisers on the day. This fantastic family event also includes sideshows, toy stalls, a magician, marching band, refreshments and much more for all participants.

All in all great way to support a wonderful cause and an inexpensive day out for the whole family.
